It reminds me of Good Friday this coming week. I think the artist did an amazing job depicting Christ's hardship of carrying the cross to his own crucifixion. The light in this painting fulfills the four basic functionf lighting. It reveals the basic shape of Christ, the person in the painting. IT lightens and darkens shadows. I agree, there are attached shadows from his body by the way. Thirdly, the light shows where the object is relative to the background. It shows Christ beneath heaven, still on earth. You have two separate things.

(1) YOUR OWN bolg. .. your “homework” which is the reading and assignment. I estimate that is a 3 hour per week obligation. (i.e., 1 hour of homework per 1 home of class, a reasonable balance).

(2) your discussion: Recall that we have subtracted 1 hour from our class … this is the time you need to spend on OTHER STUDENTS’ blogs.

Let me know if you feel that the amount of work is not appropriate and we can discuss it.

I do not think you are "slower than the rest" since I have the same exact question! To compose a quality blog and to provide quality feedback to my classmates takes me well over an hour.
