I think it’s questionable that the “Other” has a certain look or characteristic that makes it visually obvious that a person is the bad guy or “the other” I think movies can be narrated in a way where the viewer can tell who the director wanted the other to be just based on the story line and the way a movie is made. That’s why I chose the movie “Blow” for my example because it is not straight forward and obvious who the director wants “the other” to be, it is done subtly.
